8.

My mini-vacation is coming to an end, sadly, and I'm going back home on Sunday. I've been thoroughly enjoying an environment without yelling or insufferable power trips and am not looking forward to hiding in my room all day once more. At least I'll have my cats. We're ordering out since it's in the 80's today and cooking on the stove is so very unappealing. The temperature should really make up its mind already, I'm done flip-flopping between extreme heat and extreme cold!

In other news, the SD card for the switch arrived today so I'm finally redownloading more games I never got to finish.

Still have a handful of achievements left to get in Littlewood, and I think I'm going to restructure the town after I complete them all. The in-game days are short enough that I can actually remember what I'm doing the next day and I still love the character interactions. Also learnt that one of the creator's inspirations was indeed Dark Cloud! Along with, I think, Harvest Moon and old-school Runescape, both of which I adored as a kid. I'm glad I picked it up.

Bought Tales of Vesperia because it was on sale and sounded vaguely familiar, and I've been thoroughly enjoying it so far. The protagonist is the perfect mix of standoffish asshole and genuinely good guy that it's a delight to carry the main story. I'm probably missing a solid chunk of side quests and other things though, but I'll go through another run after this with a guide of some sort. Really hoping Estelle and Rita's relationship gets more depth to it because their interactions are so painfully cute that I need to get up and walk around after.

I can't wait to see what the game does with Raven, too. He's so shady and I love that the other party members rag on him nearly all the time.

Hades is a lot of fun! It doesn't feel as repetitive as it could, especially since I am not at all good at it. I love the voice actor they chose for Orpheus and Dusa is so adorably nervous. There is an ongoing, highly entertaining passive-aggressive argument between my Zagreus and Hades because I keep changing the carpeting around.

Made it a little ways into the H section. I've tentatively put Haikyuu!! on my reading list because a few of my friends are into it, but we'll see how much it grabs me. So looking forward to Hakushaku to Yousei, though! I read the first volume or so as a teen and adored it. Lots of cute shoujo manga so far, as well as some historical manhwa and fun-looking isekai.
